Please be informed that our factory will be closed from 31st May to 2nd June in observance of the Zongzi Festival. We will resume operations on 3rd June.
To avoid any delays, kindly arrange your orders and shipments accordingly. If you have urgent matters, feel free to contact us in advance. Our sales and customer service teams will do their best to assist you during the holiday.
🌿 What Is the Zongzi Festival?
The Zongzi Festival, held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, is one of the most important traditional holidays in China. It commemorates the patriotic poet Qu Yuan, and is celebrated with dragon boat races and the eating of zongzi — glutinous rice dumplings wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves.
For many, zongzi is not only a seasonal delicacy but also a symbol of unity, remembrance, and cultural heritage.
🏆 Spotlight: The Famous Daojiao Zongzi of Dongguan
Dongguan, where our factory is proudly based, is home to a special variety of zongzi known as Daojiao Zongzi (道滘粽子) — one of the most iconic regional flavors in Southern China.

- Rich Fillings: Daojiao zongzi are famous for their savory and generous fillings, which often include salted egg yolk, mung beans, pork belly, peanuts, and chestnuts.
- Long, Slender Shape: Unlike the typical pyramid-shaped zongzi, Daojiao zongzi are usually long and cylindrical, tightly packed and skillfully wrapped.
- Time-Honored Technique: Handmade using traditional methods passed down for generations, each zongzi takes hours to cook, giving it a deep, fragrant flavor.
Locals say that eating a Daojiao zongzi is like tasting the soul of Dongguan — a city that blends industrial innovation with heartfelt tradition.
