Pulp and Raw Paper Price Situation in Major Regional Markets for Household Paper, February 2024
According to research data from “Household Paper” magazine, the average prices of various pulp raw materials in February 2024, compared to January 2024, experienced minor fluctuations but remained relatively stable overall. In early and mid-February, pulp prices were generally stable. After the Spring Festival, the average price of imported wood pulp in Hebei increased, while the average prices of various pulps in Guangxi decreased.
The specific changes in pulp prices in February 2024 are as follows:
- The average price of bleached broadleaf wood pulp board (imported) in Hebei increased by ¥65/ton, reaching ¥5140/ton.
- The average price of bleached coniferous wood pulp board (imported) in Hebei rose by ¥17/ton, to ¥5680/ton.
- In Guangxi, the average price of bleached broadleaf wood pulp board (imported) decreased by ¥80/ton, to ¥5420/ton.
- Additionally, the average price of locally bleached eucalyptus wet pulp (absolute dry) in Guangxi fell by ¥40/ton, to ¥5260/ton.
For non-wood pulp raw materials:
- The average price of bleached bamboo pulp in Sichuan and Chongqing increased by ¥30/ton, to ¥5680/ton.
- The average price of unbleached bamboo pulp in Sichuan and Chongqing was approximately ¥4625/ton, remaining unchanged from January 2024.
- The average price of bleached bagasse wet pulp (absolute dry) in Guangxi decreased by ¥80, to ¥4470/ton.

- The average price of bleached wood pulp raw paper in Guangxi was about ¥7050/ton, unchanged from January 2024.
For non-wood pulp raw paper:
- The average price of bleached bamboo pulp raw paper in Sichuan and Chongqing was about ¥6775/ton.
- The average price of unbleached bamboo pulp raw paper in Sichuan and Chongqing was about ¥6075/ton.
- The average price of bleached bagasse pulp raw paper in Guangxi was about ¥6150/ton, remaining unchanged from January 2024.
